Saw this a few minutes ago and felt it so deeply that I just had to share it. I’m not just trans, I’m also autistic and this statement is so true.

Ha! Just had a reminder of why I have to mask. I joined a Discord server for autistic people, and, thinking I was in a safe place, I let my mask droop down. Got in trouble for it because people thought I was “arguing” when I thought I was just having an interesting discussion. Oh well. No place is safe enough not to mask.
